Executive Committee
SA President Responsibilities:
- Chairs all executive sessions, pre-meetings, and business meetings. Recruits and appoints students with the Executive Committee's approval to the Student Court, the Undergraduate Student Association Elections Committee, and other college committees.
- Reviews, negotiates, and signs hundreds of contracts with performers, corporations, and local governments on behalf of all SA-funded organizations.
- Serves as the primary co-supervisor of Student Association officers, employees, and services. Helps conduct annual employee evaluations.
- Serves as a member of the Academic Research and Travel Grant Selection Committee, CAS Board of Directors, College Budget Committee, College Council, College Strategic Planning Committee, Geneseo Foundation Board of Directors, New Organization Recognition Committee, and others.
- Serves on major College and SA search committees as needed.
- Is a member of various ad-hoc College committees and may chair additional SA committees as needed.
- Is a delegate to the SUNY Student Assembly and attends approximately two state-wide conferences with delegates from all SUNY schools.
- Represents SUNY Geneseo at lobbying events in Albany on behalf of students' issues.
- Coordinates and delegates responsibilities to the other members of the Executive Committee.
- Organizes Executive Committee retreats twice a year to plan for the upcoming semester.
- Meets regularly with administrators on behalf of the student body.
- Remains in Geneseo during the summer to prepare for the following year, coordinate summer business meetings, assist in the yearly audit, sign contracts, supervise staff, and coordinate SA activities during summer Orientation sessions

SA Vice President Responsibilities:
- Serves as the Chair of the Undergraduate Student Senate with duties that include chairing weekly executive meetings, facilitating weekly business meetings, and works with both students and the administration on enacting meaningful policy.
- Recruits students with Executive Committee's approval to the fourteen student positions on the College Senate.
- Acts as the liaison between the Student Association and the College Senate.
- Sits on the College Senate Executive Committee.
- Coordinates and chairs Student Senator caucuses.
- Acts as a liaison to the Club Sports Association.
- Fulfills any and all responsibilities of the Student Association President whenever he/she is unable to do so.
- Assists the Director of Public Relations with planning and execution of Budget Advocacy Day.
- Assists the Student Association President in recruiting and appointing committee members as needed.

SA Director of Business Affairs Responsibilities:
- Serves as the Chair for the Student Association Budget Committee, which is responsible for conducting the annual budget hearings and proposing the Student Association budget.
- Interprets and enforces Student Association Financial Policies.
- Administers Leadership Awards with the Student Association Budget Committee and SA Director of Programs, Personnel, & Finance
- Conducts an annual inventory of all Student Association equipment.
- Creates the agenda for weekly business meetings and ensures all SA forms are current.
- Examines agenda readings for accuracy and clarity.
- Files minutes from the weekly business meetings.
- Monitors and reviews SA revenues and expenditures with auditors and SA staff.
- Conducts treasurer training sessions for all Student Association-funded organizations.
- Brings financial concerns to the attention of the Executive Committee.
- Helps maintain the SA office equipment including computers and printers.

SA Director of Academic Affairs Responsibilities:
- Serves as the Chair of the Academic Affairs Committee (AAC) with duties that include chairing weekly executive sessions, facilitating weekly business meetings, and the supervision of the AAC executive board.
- Coordinates the annual College Bowl Tournament.
- Runs the Graduate Test Prep Service
- Advocates for academic issues on behalf of the student body.
- Serves as a liaison between the student body, faculty department chairs, the Dean of the College, and the Provost.

SA Director of Inter-Residence Affairs Responsibilities:
- Serves as the Chair of the Inter-Residence Council (IRC) with duties that include chairing weekly executive board meetings, facilitating General Assembly meetings, and the supervision of the IRC executive board.
- Serves as the representative of the residential student population with administrators, faculty, and staff.
- Works with the IRC executive board and General Assembly to plan and facilitate programming, primarily for on-campus students.
- Serves as the liaison between SA and IRC, Student Life, and the Division of Student and Campus Life.
- Represents SUNY Geneseo at regional and national conferences.
- Remains in Geneseo over most of the summer to assist in summer Orientation sessions and to plan an executive board retreat.

SA Director of Student Programming Responsibilities:
- Serves as the Chair of Geneseo Campus Activities Board (GCAB) with duties that include chairing weekly executive sessions, facilitating weekly business meetings, and the supervision of the Geneseo Campus Activities Board.
- Serves as the primary liaison between the Department of Student Life and the Executive Committee.
- Works with the GCAB programming chairs and Student Life staff to plan and facilitate programming for the campus community.
- Develops the major weekends in the academic calendar.
- Assists the Director of Student Affairs in the planning and implementation of the Intercultural Dinner.
- Plans the First Knight Celebration for new students.

- Represents SUNY Geneseo at lobbying events in Albany on behalf of students' issues.
- Coordinates voter registration efforts for students.
- Coordinates the annual Intercultural Dinner to promote diversity on campus.
- Serves as a liaison between the multicultural organizations and special interest organizations and the Executive Committee.
- Serves as the primary liaison between the Executive Committee and off-campus students.
- Serves as a voting member on the Geneseo First Response Board of Directors.

SA Director of Public Relations Responsibilities:
- Develops and maintains a comprehensive public relations campaign throughout the academic year designed to inform the college community about Student Association events, services, and organizations through various forms of publicity, including regularly-updated bulletin boards.
- Drafts and releases statements on behalf of SA on relevant issues that affect the campus.
- Orders promotional items on behalf of SA.
- Regularly updates the SA website.
- Organizes Budget Advocacy Day.
- Updates and orders new SA brochures in the spring.
- Organizes SA's involvement during summer orientation sessions.
- Submits advertisements to The Lamron for SA-funded groups' events.
- Develops promotional materials for the mandatory student activity fee referendum as applicable.
- Serves as a liaison between the Executive Committee and media organizations.
- Serves as a liaison between the Executive Committee and Bronze Bear Creative Services.
- Serves as a liaison between the Executive Committee and the SA Service Manager.

- Works with established bodies to increase voter registration efforts for students
- Serves as the primary liaison between the Executive Committee and off-campus students
- Works with on-campus advocacy groups, including ACE and non-SA funded organizations
- Is a member of several ad hoc college and community strategic committees
- Coordinates with the Undergraduate Student Senate and their Geneseo Community Representative
