Living On Campus

Living on campus is an integral part of a Geneseo education. The residence halls provide more than a bed to rest your head at night (or in the afternoon), they are places where you learn how to interact with and live with people who are different from you. This requires advocating for your own needs, listening to and respecting the needs of others (especially when it seems like the needs conflict), and working with your roommates, suite-mates, hall-mates, and RA staff to build a network of support. Note that SUNY Geneseo guarantees housing for undergraduate students.

In addition to learning key communication skills that are valuable in your academic courses, your campus support network is key in navigating all aspects or your collegiate life: academics, research, internships, clubs, organizations, student involvement, and more!
