Transfer Students

Students that have completed at least 24 credit hours at another higher education institution (in the U.S. or abroad) are considered transfer students. The application process is the same, but please be sure to submit official transcripts from all previous colleges or universities attended. Transfer credits do not post until official transcripts have been received.

Transferring Credit from AP, IB and A-Level Exams

SUNY Geneseo offers academic credit to students with satisfactory A-Level exam results. Typically, students with exam results of "C" or better may receive up to 6 semester hours for each full A-Level exam.
