I have been an Elementary School Counselor for the past 29 years. My sociology degree gave me a great foundation to build on. The transition to graduate school was easy and I felt very prepared to succeed. My internship at Chances and Changes shelter while getting my Sociology degree also put me on the path to know I wanted to work with children.
