Currently serving as director of membership and education for the Rhode Island League of Cities and Towns, Dr. Slattery uses her background in sociology and organizational development to promote high quality leadership in public service. After Geneseo, where Jennifer double/majored in sociology and psychology, she went on to earn a master’s degree in counseling from SUNY Brockport and spend significant time working in higher education administration and career coaching at institutions such as the University of Rochester and Brown University. Jennifer went on to earn her doctorate in education, specializing in leadership and organizational development at Northeastern University. Dr. Slattery teaches as an Adjunct professor at Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI. She enjoys annual visits back to Geneseo for reunions and Bills games.
