Army ROTC

Army Reserves Officer Training Corp (ROTC) is a program offered at SUNY Geneseo in unity with the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) that excels in training young men and women to become Officers in the United States Army post-graduate. ROTC gives students exceptional leadership and interpersonal relation skills, along with the physical training to excel in the Active Duty, Reserve, or National Guard component of the military. 

Those who are eager to learn, physically fit, and have strong academics thrive in the program. Students who graduate frequently attribute many of the skills listed previously to personal and professional success and excel in the civilian job world.

Students are taught and supported by the best instructors the Army has to offer and are capable of managing their school work, ROTC commitments, and other extracurricular activities. Additionally, students have the opportunity to receive either partial or full financial assistance while working towards their bachelor's degree and participating in ROTC.
