The great majority of scientists agree that humans have caused climate change, and that the rising temperatures on the earth's surface are leading to higher concentrations of greenhouse gases, rising sea levels, more extreme weather events, increased droughts and wildfires, loss of species and damage to ecosystems, and health risks. But what can we do about it, as individuals and communities? Join Geneseo students, faculty, and staff this year for classes, panel discussions, lectures, workshops, exhibits, and tours that will explore how a liberal arts based understanding of climate change can help you to make effective choices for your own future and the Earth's future.
