Race Day Information

Check-In Procedures for Pre-Registered

Check-in for pre-registered runners will take place between 7:30 and 8:45 a.m. at the gazebo next to the tennis courts. Shirts will be given to the first 85 registered runners, with sizes distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Day-Of Registration

On-the-day registration will take place between 7:30 and 8:45 a.m. at the gazebo next to the tennis courts at the bottom of campus. Please cash or a check; no online registration will be available on race day.

Race Day Registration Fees

Students: $10

Faculty/Staff/Alumni: $20

General Public: $30 

Bathroom Facilities

Please check buildings on-campus bathrooms will not be provided or open specifically for this event.

Safety

  • Please stay on sidewalks whenever possible
  • Be alert at all times – University Police will be stationed throughout, but be mindful of traffic when on roads
  • Follow lead vehicle; volunteers & flags throughout the course will help direct you
  • If you are injured or become sick during the race, please stop and find a race volunteer

Finish Line

  • Finish all the way through the finish line (banner & people waving)
  • If you do not have a race bib, please do not cross the finish line!
  • Continue moving through the entire chute so that it does not get backed up.

Results

  • Race results will be posted online on the 5K website as soon as possible.
  • Please do not approach timers, finish line workers or any other volunteer for times.
  • There will be a formal award ceremony     

Weather Concerns

We will run the race if it is raining, but we will not run the race if there is thunder or lightning. A decision will be made by the race directors; we will delay the race up to 30 minutes for the weather.
