A highlight for many alumni guests is the opportunity to "go back in time" by staying with friends and family in on-campus residence halls. One of the many benefits of the Reunion is the available space we have to accommodate our alumni guests. With the residence halls vacant for the summer, we have the space to accommodate approximately 300 reunion guests (with double occupancy in every room).
Guests staying on campus will be housed in suite-style residence halls on South Campus (Nassau and Suffolk). Wireless internet is available and free of charge. For the safety of all those staying on campus, each guest is required to sign-in, obtain keys/codes and sign the on-campus housing agreement.
If you have reserved on-campus housing and need to check in or check out outside On-Campus Housing Headquarter hours, you are required to complete this short form [link tbd] with your expected time of arrival and/or departure by Friday, May 30. We will send you further instructions.
Reunion guests can park an RV or camper in Lot S (on-campus) during Reunion Weekend! Complete this short registration form [link tbd] by Friday, May 23 to officially register your RV or camper for on-campus parking.

- On-Campus Housing FAQs
-
- Can I register and pay when I arrive/do you take walk-in registrations?
- While we can accept a limited number of walk-in registrations for some events, we are not able to accommodate walk-in registrations for meals or lodging. To get the most out of your reunion and on-campus housing experience, please register for on-campus housing and for all other Reunion events/meals by the advertised deadline.
- What is the height of the average residence hall twin bed mattress?
-
Most residence hall twin beds are set to the highest setting at approximately 34-42" from the floor. The average bed (found in your home and hotels) is set at approximately 25" - 30" from the floor. Please email the Office of Alumni Relations by Friday, May 30 to request your bed lowered to the mid-rise height of 15" from the floor. Please include the date of your Reunion registration confirmation email when you submit this request.
-
- Can I book multiple on-campus rooms for my group of friends?
- We love that you and your friends want to stay together on campus! Doing so adds a special dimension to your reunion. We do; however, require unrelated adults to register individually. Here's why:
- Our database can only assign one room per registration (alumni traveling with their families; however, can certainly book a second room for their children).
- To book an additional room for your children, please call the Office of Alumni Relations at (585) 245-5506, this cannot be done online.
- Alumni who already have a room assignment might not register for other reunion activities, and we would hate for anyone to miss out on great registration-required activities.

- We love that you and your friends want to stay together on campus! Doing so adds a special dimension to your reunion. We do; however, require unrelated adults to register individually. Here's why:
- Can I reserve a specific room and/or building?
- Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate special requests of this nature. The effort it takes to honor "housed near" requests and keep alumni from same/similar class years and affinity groups together prohibits us from honoring these very specific requests.
- How can I make sure that I'm on the same floor with other alumni in my graduating class/affinity group?
- When you register for reunion, you have the opportunity to list the name of one other confirmed reunion guest with whom you wish to share a suite/floor. Answering this question will help to ensure that you and your friends are housed near each other. The Office of Alumni Relations makes every effort to accommodate our overnight alumni guests and honor these requests. Other tips to ensure that your housed near your friends:
- Register early. The sooner the better - registrations received after the deadline are not guaranteed their "housed near" requests.
- Make sure the friend that you list on your form is registered or plans to register.
- It is the practice of the Office of Alumni Relations to house alumni from similar class years and affinity groups together. Even if you don't make any special requests, chances are that you will be placed with alumni from your (for example) sorority or fraternity - from your generation.

The Office of Alumni Relations makes every effort to accommodate our overnight alumni guests and honor these requests. Other tips to ensure that your housed near your friends:

- You will receive your housing assignment after you check at Reunion. First stop at the Reunion Welcome Center and then check in at the On-Campus Housing Headquarters located in the Red Jacket Dining Hall. A detailed email confirmation will be sent to all registered Reunion guests a few days before Reunion containing information about Reunion Headquarters, On-Campus Housing information, and campus parking.
- What residence halls are being used for Reunion 2025?
- On-campus guests will be housed in Nassau or Suffolk Halls (suite-style). Most rooms contain two twin beds and free wireless internet is available. Stoves, cookware, and refrigerators are no longer guaranteed in every lounge/building.
- Can guests staying on-campus access Geneseo's wifi?
- Yes, see a complete instruction guide for creating a guest account on Geneseo's wifi. Once you create your account, your credentials are valid for 3 days. These credentials can be used for all of your devices, once provided with the username and password simply use them to login to your phone, laptop, tablet etc.
