Latin American and Caribbean Studies

Why choose Latin American and Caribbean studies at Geneseo?

This minor gives students a broad, interdisciplinary understanding of Latin America and the Caribbean: a vast, diverse, and fascinating region. In an increasingly interdependent, globalized world, knowledge of the unique historical, economic, social, political, and cultural dynamics of Latin America and the Caribbean is crucially important, particularly given the region’s complex relationship to the United States.
