  •  Gives students a well-rounded knowledge of a continent with almost 10 percent of the world’s population and more than 200 languages. 
  • Intensive grammar, culture, and communication studies in either French, German, Russian, or Spanish.

European Studies

Why choose European studies at Geneseo?

This minor is an interdisciplinary study of Europe, from Great Britain to Russia and from Scandinavia to the Balkan regions. The European Union and non-affiliated countries will continue to influence political relations, climate change, and the economy for the foreseeable future. Courses are wide-ranging, encompassing various European languages, history, politics, philosophy, and cultures.
