Becky Leathersich
Research Instruction Librarian - Fraser Hall Library
Becky Leathersich is a research instruction librarian at Fraser Hall Library. As the education librarian and a previous school librarian, she brings experience and knowledge in STEM in education. She oversees two interns, who manage the Teacher Education Resource Center (TERC) Collection and Imaginarium. She is also a part of the planning committee of the Geneseo Maker Fest.
Brian Bucar
Learning Spaces Technician/Experimental Space/CIT
Brian Bucar is a Learning Spaces Technician in CIT. He also oversees the Experimental Space and 3D Printing at Geneseo. Brian has a background in Electrical Engineering, repair of old houses, automotive repair and engine management calibration, electronics repair and excessive experience in keeping kids toys working.
Greta Hermann
Junior Psychology Major
Greta Hermann is a junior psychology major and Edgar Fellow graduating a semester early. For her honors capstone, she will be creating a survey regarding the mental health benefits of fiberarts across different demographics. Greta has always been active in different creative and artistic outlets, and has dabbled in a variety of different disciplines.
Dan DeZarn
Director of Sustainability
As the Director of Sustainability, Dan oversees the Office of Susttainabilty, which runs the eGarden and the Roemer Arboretum. Dan has an MFA in sculpture and has a strong background it the fine arts, sustainable building and general construction. Dan has a wide range of hands-on skills, ranging from welding, steel fabrication and woodwork to forestry and gardening.
Bill McDevitt
Sustainability Officer
Bill McDevitt is a staff member in the Office of Sustainability and manages the eGarden and the Roemer Arboretum. Bill is trained in horticulture and has a long history in grounds management. Bill's skills range from outdoors and guide skills to construction, design and creative probelm solving.
Garth Freeman
Dir. of Student Volunteerism & Community Engagement
Garth works in the Center for Community supporting volunteer and service activities and community engagement opportunities. Garth has his Master's degree in Fine Arts from Alfred University with a concentration in sculpture and a minor in Art History, Garth uses found objects and images and employs techniques of simple construction, assemblage, collage, and installation for his work and looks to pass on these skills to Geneseo students.
