History Teachers' Day

Each year, the Department of History hosts a Teachers' Day. This event brings together dozens of high school and middle school history teachers from across the region to hear Geneseo faculty members review scholarly trends in U.S. and global history.

Registration

  • This year's History Teachers' Day will be Friday, March 14, 2025, at SUNY Geneseo. We plan to offer four workshops and provide lunch.

Acknowledgments

As a department, we gratefully acknowledge the financial support of former teachers and Geneseo alumni Joe ’67 and Elaine ’66 Bucci, without whose help the History Teachers' Day would not be possible.
