Profile: Mike earned a bachelor's degree in Communication Studies from Canisius College in Buffalo then enjoyed a stint in advertising before returning to his alma mater to begin a career in college admissions.  During his 20-plus years at Canisius, he earned a master's degree in educational administration while developing expertise in enrollment management, at both undergraduate and graduate levels.

Fun Fact: Mike began donating blood in his senior year of high school. During his junior year of college, a friend who was studying to be a phlebotomist encouraged him to donate platelets. Later that year he made his first donation and has been donating platelets since. He recently made his 180th donation of whole blood or platelets.

Hometown: Niskayuna, NY

Profile: Haley earned her bachelor’s degree in Childhood & Special Education in May 2024 and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Reading & Literacy (B-12), both at SUNY Geneseo. During her time at Geneseo, she was an active member of the Geneseo Dance Ensemble and served as the acting president of Kappa Delta Pi, an education honor society, for two years. Outside of her assistantship, Haley also works as a substitute teacher at a local elementary school.

Fun Fact: Haley co-founded the STEAMBus, a mobile STEM classroom that brings hands-on learning experiences to classrooms across New York's Capital District and beyond. This multi-year, grant-funded project transformed a retired school bus into a fully equipped educational space. The STEAMBus provides students—especially those with limited access to new technology—with unique STEM opportunities and helps foster a love for learning in fields like science, technology, engineering, arts, and math.
