"Stitching for Ukraine" at the Diversity Summit. Featured work by Lili Gourley.
Professor Klima led the Community Art Project "Stitching for Ukraine" at the Diversity Summit on February 28. Students and faculty learned how to cross stitch various Slavic designs. This was all in effort to support Ukraine and the World Central Kitchen. Via a QR code, participants could donate $5 or more and receive a Ukrainian support bracelet. Many students and faculty members showed up in support and students learned not only a new craft but also about Slavic symbols and crafting. A good time was had by all but there was also concern and support for our Ukrainian brothers and sisters.
