Carpets

An 8’ by 10’ carpet will fit all rooms. All room floors are tiled except Erie Hall, where the bedrooms are carpeted and Ontario Common Rooms.

Bed Dimensions

All residence hall beds take twin-sized sheets, extra-long (XL) except for Ontario Deluxe Single Rooms which are standard full size beds.

Most halls have adjustable beds, which can be raised to roughly 30 inches above the floor (creating under-bed storage space).

Some rooms in Livingston and Monroe have non-adjustable beds.

Bed height change: If you are looking to have your bed height adjusted, please find your AC/RD or RA on move in day to make this request. We cannot take these requests prior to move in day as our facilities staff is engaged in building preparation. Do not attempt to change the bed heights yourself as this will likely damage the bed frames. There is no cost for bed height changes during opening week.

Bed raising: With the exception of a small amount of rooms in Monroe, all beds can be raised and lowered. Lofting is available on a first come first serve basis (due to limited materials available) and only in Putnam and Seneca due to the height of the ceilings. Single rooms are not able to have lofted beds. Bunking is available in all Central and North Village Halls except Genesee.

Furniture Dimensions

Please note these are estimates and furniture may vary based on room as furniture has needed to be replaced.
