Fall 2024 New Student Orientation
We're thrilled to welcome you to the Geneseo community!
As you begin your journey at SUNY Geneseo, we aim to provide you with the information and resources you need for a smooth transition.
Orientation Basics
There are two parts to orientation:
- Online Orientation: (an asynchronous course, meaning it can be completed on your own time, at your own pace). Available in August. Look for information in your Geneseo email.
- On-Campus Orientation
- International Orientation: August 19-24
- First Year Orientation: August 20-24
- Transfer Student Orientation: August 23
All new students must attend on-campus orientation.

Parent and Family Orientation Webinars
The Parent and Family Orientation Webinar Series offers essential information about Geneseo's services and resources. Hosted by Geneseo faculty, staff, and administrators, these sessions highlight student opportunities and ways to support them during their transition.
