EVALUATION PROCEDURES:

     The grade for this course will be based on two in-class tests, a comprehensive final exam, and homework assignments.  The portions of the evaluation are weighted as follows:

Homework………………………..25%

Final Exam……………………….35%

In-class Tests…………………..…40%

The in-class tests will be given on or near Friday, February 23 and Wednesday, April 11. The final exam is scheduled for Friday, May 11 at 8 AM.

  The final grade will be determined on the following schedule:

A   93-100%    A-   90-92%     B+   87-89%    B  83-86%       B-  80-82%

C+  77-79%     C    73-76%     C-   70-72%     D  60-69%       E     0-59%

 

CONTENT OUTLINE:

     The course will cover chapters 1 to 6 of the text and as much of chapter 7 as possible.  A detailed outline of the course will be given during class.

 

MAKE-UP POLICY:

      A make-up exam will be given only if I am supplied with a valid excuse prior to the exam.
