EVALUATION PROCEDURES:

     The grade for this course will be based on three in-class tests, a comprehensive final exam, and homework assignments.  The portions of the evaluation are weighted as follows:

Homework………………………..25%

In Class Exams.………………….45%

Final Exam.………………………30%

The in class exams will be given on or near Friday, February 11, Friday,  March 25, and Friday,  April 22.   The final exam is scheduled for Wednesday, May 11 at 8 AM. The final grade will be determined on the following schedule:

A   93-100%    A-   90-92%     B+   87-89%    B  83-86%       B-  80-82%

C+  77-79%     C    73-76%     C-   70-72%     D  60-69%       E     0-59%

 

CONTENT OUTLINE:

This course will cover most of the contents of the textbook with particular emphasis on chapters 3 and 5-8. There will be some review of the contents of Calculus I but the course will concentrate on Dynamical Systems, Differential Equations, and Probability as applied to Biological Problems.

 

MAKE-UP POLICY:

      A make-up exam will be given only if I am supplied with a valid excuse prior to the exam.
