Tutoring for the course is not officially arranged by either myself or the Physics Department. However, I have gathered some names of people who may be willing to tutor. It is the responsibility of you, the student, the contact them, arrange time(s) to meet, and to agree with the tutor on a price. The people listed here have agreed to be available at least sometimes, but they are not required to be tutors and may or may not be able to accomodate your needs.
Lab Instructors may be willing. Note that they have never taken the Science of Sound lecture course, so that they may not know some of the facts that we learn. However, they can be helpful to you in learning how to solve physics problems. Their contact information is available on the Lab Course web site.
The secretary in the Physics Department (ISC 234) often collects names of physics majors who are willing to tutor. Visit her to ask about the possibilities. Keep in mind that, like the lab instructors, they will not have taken the course, but can be helpful on general physics topics like problem solving.
The following non-phyics majors have taken the Science of Sound course in recent years, and did quite well in the course. They have indicated that they may be able and willing to do tutoring.
