Textbook: The Oxford Solid State Basics, by Steven H. Simons
A relatively new book (published with "bug fixes" in 2016).
Solid State Physics, by Ashcroft and Mermin
This is one of the "bibles" of solid state physics. It was published a long time ago, but is still very good. This book is used for both undergraduate and graduate level courses, but one can steer clear of the more advanced topics. If you go to graduate school, you will very likely find this book useful there.
Introduction to Solid State Physics , by C. Kittel.
Another commonly used textbook. It is in no way required for this course, but you might find it useful for an alternate perspective on some topics.
