      • Number of such sets of 5 numbers is 69 C 5
      • nchoosek function
    • Multiplication principle helps with number of ways to match 5 regular numbers AND pick Powerball number
      • Total number of possible sets of lottery numbers is (69 C 5) (26 C 1)
    • Expected value comes in to find expected profit from playing

  • Probability of winning 2nd place is not same as probability of matching 5 regular numbers
    • One match with regular numbers wins jackpot when combined with right choice for Powerball number
