    • Computers in class - bring on a few days, but usually you don’t need to
    • Grading policy: numeric grades will be lower than you’re used to, but consistent across students. Letter grades take low numeric grades into account.
    • Online materials will look similar to ones from past classes
      • For example, an exercise from calc 2 last spring
      • Or a lecture from calc 2.

  • Example—one place this material goes
    • Surface of snake’s body is probably a function with 3 outputs and 2 inputs
    • Perpendicular to tangent (aka normal) is important in lighting calculations—so we need to differentiate such functions
