IViPP Image Gallery

Stopping positions of ions in a target, calculated by SRIM. A narrow beam of ions moving parallel to the X (yellow) axis impacts on a target (not shown) at the origin. The ions penetrate some distance into the target, scattering as they do so. IViPP displays the ions' final positions as red dots, drawing the axes for reference.
