If you need help with LaTeX, Overleaf has a very good tutorial: LaTeX tutorial
Problems
- Using the material from your calculus class (MATH 112, 221, 222, or 223), or linear algebra (MATH 233), choose two problems from either the course textbook, webwork, or worked examples from lectures, and write out the solution using LaTeX to each problem. Your document should contain the following:
- A title including the name of the course, your name, and the date.
- For each problem, include the problem statement and its entire solution written out using complete sentences and proper mathematical notation. Use the necessary LaTeX environments to properly align mathematical statements. Consult your textbook for examples on how to write a proper solution with complete sentences.
- In addition to the two problems, choose one theorem from the textbook and write out its full statement.
- using proper mathematical notation,
- using proper formatting and alignment,
- using appropriate math environments,
- using proper grammar and sentence structure, and
- following directions on how to name your submitted PDF file.
