We want — and value — listener feedback! If you especially like (or even particularly dislike) any song heard on WGSU, let us know. Hearing from listeners is, nowadays (in an age of online music logs and Shazam), even more important when having direct, regular contact (sometimes via questions asking about artists and song titles) is becoming increasingly less common. Your opinions matter to us: Send an email to WGSU.

WGSU’s Music Format

WGSU broadcasts and streams a commercial-free, current-based alt-pop format featuring a wide variety of great alternative, indie, electronic, dream-pop, synth-pop, chill, trip-hop and pop-punk artists and bands, such as:

Submit Music for Airplay Consideration

Artists/bands, labels and promoters may submit digital music (wav files preferred) to wgsumd@geneseo.edu. Due to the high volume of submissions received, however, artists/bands are encouraged to submit music via a trusted promoter (such as Co-Sign, Distiller, Planetary, Syndicate or Terrorbird). Before submitting, please familiarize yourself with WGSU’s current-based alt-pop format. Digital submissions that do not include free preview links (e.g. Bandcamp, SoundCloud or other proprietary site) are deleted.
