Welcome to the Student Organization Directory!
With more than 180 student clubs and organizations, there truly is something for everyone at SUNY Geneseo.
A college-registered Student Organization is any student-driven group whose primary membership and entire leadership consists of students enrolled at SUNY Geneseo; is formed in order to contribute to the students' personal development and the advancement of the College Mission; is non-credit bearing; and is officially registered with the Department of Student Life.
Full registration does not imply college endorsement of the positions and views of any organization. Rather, it implies that the institution accepts the organization’s mission as educationally valid and that the organization has complied with institutional registration and continuing registration procedures.
Full registration with the College does not permit the organization to act in the name of the university, to represent the university, engage in any contractual obligation in the name of the university, nor represent the organization as being an official part of the university.

EmmelodicsAll Gender A Cappella that sings a variety of genres. We have the best time together and love to sing together and hang out outside of rehearsals.

Exit 8 AcapellaExit 8 is Geneseo’s first all gender acapella group, performing at Geneseo’s all-acapella concerts, invitationals, festivals, the ICCA’s (International Championship of Collegiate Acapella), and more. Exit 8 is focused on bringing people together over their love of music! We perform a wide variety of musical genres and strive to create a welcoming environment for all students!

Filipino Student UnionThe Filipino Student Union (FSU) at SUNY Geneseo is a cultural organization that aims to celebrate Filipino culture. We aim to provide a community and safe-space for those who are Filipino-identifying and those who appreciate our Philippine culture.

Gajjda BhangraGajjda Bhangra team’s purpose is to utilize Bhangra as a culture and a style of dance to promote and contribute to a diverse and multi-faceted community through on-campus workshops and performance, as well as represent Geneseo at regional Bhangra competitions and festivals. Membership is open to all full-time and part-time students, regardless of sex, race, color, or national origin, committed to the mission of the organization and upholding its constitution.

Generation ActionGeneration Action (VOX) is a student-led organization which focuses on topics surrounding reproductive justice and safe sex practices which align with the values of Planned Parenthood. The purpose of our weekly meetings is to teach students about a wide range of topics from including birth control, sexually transmitted infections, abortions, reproductive health disorders, and more in an inclusive and welcoming manner that fosters discussion.

Geneseo Beekeeping ClubThis club is all things bees, our weekly meetings include crafts, presentations, and of course hive visits to Geneseo's own bee hives!

Geneseo Climbing ClubRock Climbing Club seeks to create a community of interested climbers through the pursuit of furthering their knowledge and applying their skills in practice. We hope to connect with other college students who share a similar passion for climbing by competing in local climbing competitions. The group is open to new and experienced athletes and places an emphasis on being inclusive and accessible to everyone who wants to climb.

Geneseo eSports ClubGeneseo Esports is a student organization that grants students of all skill levels the chance to partake in video game competitions and play on teams all the way up to a collegiate level. This organization also serves the interests of students who wish to participate in the esports industry (managers, coaches, casters, graphic designers, etc.).

Geneseo Marketing ClubThe Geneseo Marketing Club provides students with hands-on experience in marketing pratices, networking opportunities, and professional development, equipping them with skills and application for careers in the marketing field. Through workshops, guest speakers, and real-world projects, including involvement with American Marketing Association, members gain valuable insights into the industry and enhance their resumes.
