Spring 2014 Graduating Seniors
Brittany Love (Head RA): She is in the process of applying and interviewing for research assistant positions around the country. She hopes to gain more research experience and work more with children before she applies to grad school. In the next few years, she wants to pursue a PhD in Educational Psychology.
Daniela Trocchia (Head RA): She is currently in the process of applying to PA school and will be taking organic chemistry over the summer. She will hopefully be working in a hospital for this upcoming year, and is planning on starting PA school next fall.
Kathryn Leinung: Will be attending Pace University in New York City for a Psy.D in School-Clinical Child Psychology in the Fall of 2014. After graduate school she hopes to work in a primary or elementary school as a school psychologist.
Brian Penly: Will be attending RIT in the Fall of 2014 to pursue a Master's Degree in Human-computer Interaction.
Carmela Taylor: Will be attending the University at Buffalo in the Fall of 2014 to pursue a Master's Degree in Social Work.
Nicholas Palumbo: Will be attending Syracuse University in the Fall of 2014 to pursue a Master's Degree in Special Education.
Molly Vierhile: She is currently in the process of applying and interviewing for research assistant positions at universities throughout the country. She hopes to gain more experience within the next year and narrow her scope for future plans. Eventually, she aims to attend PhD school for Clinical Psychology or Clinical Health Psychology.
Joanna Santos:
Lena Freed: Will be attending the University of Vermont in the Fall of 2014. She hopes to pursue a double masters degree in School Counseling and Mental Health Counseling. Ultimately she strives to work with children, and is optimistic about her future.
Dan Volk: Accepted a position as a Business Development Coordinator for Cline, Davis & Mann (CDM Group) in New York City where he will specialize in providing market communication services to top healthcare companies. Will likely pursue post-graduate programs with a focus in business psychology
Lauren Aulet: Received the Rugby Alumni Advisory Council Student Award in Academic Achievement. Additionally, for her Edgar Fellows Capstone thesis she conducted original independent research on the mental number/magnitude line. She will be living in Rochester for at least the next year and is currently applying and interviewing for employment; her hope is to get a research position at University of Rochester. During the next year, she plans to continue to work with Dr. Mounts in the Psychology department to hopefully submit a manuscript for publication and in the fall, she plans on applying for Ph.D programs in cognitive psychology/cognitive development.
Gabby Formica:
Cheyenne Midi: This summer she will be interviewing for teaching positions in New York City. Soon after she hopes to apply and attend grad school for a masters in childhood education.
Diana Edouard: Plans to attend nursing school at Farmingdale. She aspires to become a midwife or psychiatric nurse practitioner.
