Information for Sociomedical Sciences Transfer Students
Thanks for your interest in transferring to Geneseo! Please contact the sociomedical sciences major coordinator (Dr. Jennifer Guzmán, guzman@geneseo.edu)) with any questions about the major. Questions about transfer admissions can be directed to Justine Rumbel (jrumbel@geneseo.edu, 585-245-5571).
Please note that a maximum of 90 semester hours from another college (and only 60 of which can be from a two-year institution) may be applied toward the baccalaureate degree requirements at Geneseo.
Students who have completed an associate’s degree will have satisfied all of Geneseo’s general education requirements. For questions on how your courses will transfer to fulfill general education requirements if you haven’t completed your associate’s degree, contact Geneseo’s Dean of Academic Planning and Advising (DAPA) office (DAPA@geneseo.edu).
