GETTING STARTED
- One way to begin exploring the Philosophy program is with a 100-level course:
- PHIL 100 Introduction to Philosophy
- PHIL 111 Introduction to Logic (satisfies the Math/Numeric & Symbolic Reasoning requirement)
- PHIL 130 Ethics (satisfies the Diversity, Pluralism & Power requirement)
- If you'd like your first experience with Philosophy to address a more specific topic, consider these courses:
- PHIL 201 Environmental Ethics (for those interested in Sustainability)
- PHIL 208 Philosophy of Race (for those interested in racial justice)
- PHIL 216 Reasoning & the Law (for those considering law school)
- PHIL 236 Medicine & Morality (for those considering medical school)
- You are welcome to take any course numbered below PHIL 350 as your first course!
