Pit Profiles

By taking a regular picture and comparing it to a picture taken at a 20 degree angle, the depth of certain points on the bottom can be calculated. In order to do this we need identifiable features in the pits. Because of the large size of these particular pits the features were easy to see. This is what a cross-sectional profile looks like.

Note: These pits were exceptionally big due to inconsistency in the etch batch temperature.
