Holiday-season donation drives are underway across campus, with the hosting departments and programs collecting food, gifts, and other goods for families and individuals who are in need in our region.
Ninth Annual Teddy Bear Toss
On December 6, Ira S. Wilson Ice Arena
The men's ice hockey team, in conjunction with the Geneseo Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), will host its ninth annual Teddy Bear Toss on December 6 as the Knights host the Brockport Golden Eagles in the team's final game before the holiday break. All fans are invited to bring a new or gently used stuffed animal to throw on the ice after the Knights' first goal to be donated to local charities. Last year, the event resulted in more than 500 stuffed toys donated to Catholic Charities of Livingston County, Focus on the Children, and Foster Children of Livingston County.
Holiday Knights Food Drive
On December 10, MacVittie College Union
The Holiday Knights celebration in MacVittie College Union Ballroom on December 10 will collect non-perishable food donations for the Geneseo/Groveland Emergency Food Pantry in the Village of Geneseo.
Annual Adopt-a-Family Gift Drive

The Adopt-a-Family gift drive, managed by the Livingston County Dept. of Health, is benefitting another group of families this year. Annual Holiday Toy and Gift Drive
Through December 13, Center for Community, MacVittie College Union, Room 353
Campus Auxiliary Services and the Center for Community are collecting new, unwrapped toys and gifts for youth ages birth through 18 to be distributed through Catholic Charities of Livingston County. Gifts can include toys, games, puzzles, books, clothing, sports equipment, etc. Participants are encouraged to complete the Toy and Gift Drive sign-up form.
Colleges Against Cancer Drive for Hope Lodge

Geneseo's Colleges Against Cancer Club is collecting a variety of items for Rochester's Hope Lodge, which provides free lodging for patients or caregivers undergoing cancer treatment. Items can be dropped off in Erwin 202 through December 13. Following is Hope Lodge’s wish list:
