SUNY Geneseo is one of the nation's best institutions for undergraduate education, according to The Princeton Review. The education services company features the College in its 2019 edition of its college guide, "The Best 384 Colleges." About 15% of America's 2,500 four-year colleges profiled in the book. SUNY Geneseo has been a consistent presence on the list.
"We picked the 384 'best' colleges for our book primarily for their outstanding academics; we highly recommend each one," said Robert Franek, The Princeton Review's editor-in-chief and lead author. The guide also relies on its surveys of 138,000 students who attend the colleges included in the several past issues of the guide.
"We are excited that the quality education and experiences that our students have here at Geneseo has again gained recognition," said Meaghan Arena, vice president for enrollment management. "As this latest survey demonstrates, our strong academics and rich student life offerings allow us to provide an exemplary experience for our students.”
