Three SUNY Geneseo faculty members, a professional staff member, and a member of the college’s classified services are among recipients of Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence for the 2017-18 academic year. The honor provides system-wide recognition for consistently superior professional achievement and encourages the ongoing pursuit of excellence.
Chancellor Kristina M. Johnson presented awards to Geneseo faculty and staff in four categories: teaching, faculty service, professional service, and classified service. “Excellence is SUNY’s hallmark,” said Chancellor Johnson. “At each of our campuses it is driven by our faculty and staff and their commitment to providing the highest quality environment, where students are inspired and supported to excel as they pursue their passions.
