Herzman Farewell Lecture
Ronald Herzman, Distinguished Teaching Professor of English, taught at SUNY Geneseo for 49 years. To punctuate his career and celebrate his upcoming retirement, Herzman delivered a farewell lecture on April 13, 2018. Family, friends, alumni, faculty colleagues and current and former students came from near and far to celebrate Ron's half century of teaching, research and service. Ronald Herzman Study Abroad Endowment Fund
The Ronald Herzman Study Abroad Endowment Fund honors the 49-year teaching career of Distinguished Teaching Professor of English Ron Herzman by providing financial support for students to engage in global study, research and international scholarship.
Through the Ronald Herzman Study Abroad Endowment Fund, future generations of SUNY Geneseo students will benefit from global learning and international scholarships while honoring Professor Herzman's vision and legacy. Recipients of the Ronald Herzman Study Abroad awards will be selected by the English Department in cooperation with the Office of Financial Aid and will be awarded to SUNY Geneseo students in good academic standing.
