Position Summary |
Responsible for journey level work in the operation, maintenance, repair, and installation of a wide variety of building systems and components. These shall include electrical, plumbing, HVAC, including overhauling pumps and electric motors, replacing parts and controls as necessary, and installing new equipment. Incumbent will have a working knowledge of methods, materials, tools and equipment used in the craft or crafts to which they are assigned. The incumbent may supervise and/or train other trade positions in the repair and maintenance of building equipment consistent with their skills, assign work, provide directions, observe work, and inspect upon completion. Performs required maintenance and emergency repairs of facilities and equipment in Zone areas. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various building systems in a proper, safe and timely manner. Perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled maintenance repair, installation, and tasks in mechanical, building and electrical trades. Maintain ice arena, including surfacing and edging ice. Maintain testing and maintenance of pool equipment, including chemical testing of pool water and conditions. |
