Philosophy Club
Geneseo's Philosophy Club is a student-run organization that meets once a week when classes are in session to discuss areas of philosophical interest on Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. Welles 111. The meetings are run in an open discussion format, with a somewhat-specific discussion topic set for the evening. Some past topics include mental illness, rights, aesthetics, censorship, personal identity, death, and consciousness.
All majors are welcome; no philosophical experience is necessary to contribute to, or appreciate the discussion. For updates, meeting topics, contact information, and to suggest weekly topics, please contact Dr. Filice.
