Full-Time Programs & Scholarships
SUNY Geneseo has partnerships with a number of credit-bearing internships. Each of these programs are full-time, paid internships that require college credit or student status at the time of application. 1. Jewish Foundation for the Education of Women: A New York City-based, nonsectarian organization helping women with financial need meet their educational and career goals through scholarships and opportunities for professional development.
2. The Walt Disney College Program: The Disney College Program will allow you to gain on-the-job experience that allows you to excel in your personal and professional growth
3. NYS Assembly Internship Program: The Assembly Session Internship is a comprehensive academic program which gives qualified students the chance to work in the New York State Assembly. This program is open to all majors.
4. NYS Senate Internship Program: From the halls of higher-learning to the halls of the State Capitol, New York State Senate Student Programs offers undergraduate and graduate students exciting opportunities to learn about state government and to experience firsthand the legislative process
5. The Washington Center Program: This academic internship program will help you bridge the gap between college and your professional future. Gain valuable experience and prepare yourself for achievement, leadership and engagement in your community.
Specialized Internship Programs
- Native American Internships: Learn about the various internships, fellowships, and cooperative learning experiences designed to enhance students' knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- AmeriCorps/VISTA: AmeriCorps is a voluntary civil society program supported by the U.S. federal government, foundations, corporations, and other donors engaging adults in public service work with a goal of "helping others and meeting critical needs in the community.
- Post-Baccalaureate Opportunities: Paid internships and fellowships after graduation
