• Sibling and friend relationships from early childhood through early adulthood (longitudinal study)
• Sibling relationships among various cultural groups (currently Latinx, Caribbean-American, Chinese-American, and African immigrants, but I'm open to other possibilities).

Student Involvement

• Contacting participants for follow-up studies, interviewing participants, transcribing interviews, coding transcripts and videotapes, tabulating data, entering data on the computer, analyzing data, and writing up results for presentation at GREAT day and national/international conferences 

Student Skills and Qualifications

• Strong academic record, experience working with children and/or adolescents, experience working as part of a group or team
• Completion of PSYC 215 or 216 is preferred

Additional Comments

• I do not normally admit seniors to my research group because it takes about a semester to be trained in the necessary data collection and coding methods.
