Anne joined Geneseo in July of 2006. She holds a BA in English from SUNY Binghamton, a Master's in Human Resources Administration from the University of Scranton, and a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  Anne previously served as Assistant Director of  the University of Scranton's Office of Research Services where she coordinated the sponsored programs efforts of the institution, including all pre-award functions, workshops, regulatory compliance and the Faculty/Student Research Program.

Anne's doctoral research examined the neural substrates of appetitive instrumental learning and her postdoctoral research focused on the neural structures underlying the process of reward comparison; the devaluation of natural rewards induced by drugs of abuse. She joined Geneseo following five years of postdoctoral training at the Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Anne is a strong advocate for undergraduate research and maintains her interests in neuroscience.  She also enjoys reading and looking for finds at flea markets and antique shops. Her twin sister, Amy, is a Geneseo graduate.
