Podiatry 4+4
Why pursue podiatry at Geneseo?
A partnership with Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) School of Podiatric Medicine facilitates early admission and guarantees SUNY Geneseo two spots in each year’s student cohort. Based on a successful interview within their first two years at Geneseo, students will be offered provisional admission to LECOM. Geneseo graduates of any major with sufficient pre-med coursework may then enter LECOM and work toward a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree.
Partnership Programs
LECOM’s School of Podiatric Medicine will accept any SUNY Geneseo BA or BS degree accompanied by appropriate pre-med coursework. The following Geneseo degrees are those most aligned with LECOM’s admission requirements.
- BS in Biochemistry + DPM in Podiatric Medicine
- BA in Biology + DPM in Podiatric Medicine
- BS in Biology + DPM in Podiatric Medicine
- BA in Chemistry + DPM in Podiatric Medicine
- BA in Physics + DPM in Podiatric Medicine
- BS in Physics + DPM in Podiatric Medicine
