Professional Development Microcredentials
Professional development microcredentials (PDMs) are short, focused programs specifically designed to help individuals enhance their professional skills and knowledge in a particular field or industry.
These microcredentials offer targeted, practical learning experiences to support career advancement and keep professionals up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in their respective fields.
PDMs can be earned by Geneseo students, though they are aimed primarily toward members of the public seeking to enhance their expertise.
Completion of a PDM will provide a Geneseo-branded competency badge (though there will not be a transcript notation for Geneseo students). PDMs do not provide college credit upon completion.
PDMs are one of three types of microcredentials offered at SUNY Geneseo.
