SUNY Geneseo and the Northeast College of Health Sciences are excited to announce a new educational partnership. The institutions have established 11 new articulated program agreements to save students time and money while securing their admission into Northeast’s in-demand doctor of chiropractic program.
“We are excited to offer Geneseo students the opportunity to earn doctoral credentials in chiropractic medicine—while saving time and money—from Northeast College,” said President Denise A. Battles. “Many of our students hail from the Finger Lakes region, and the ability to earn an advanced degree while remaining in the area makes our partnership an attractive and accessible option for students.”
The 4+3 articulation track lets students complete their degree at SUNY Geneseo and gain acceptance to Northeast when requirements are met. Students earning their bachelor of science in biochemistry, biology, biophysics, chemistry, and neuroscience as well as students earning their bachelor of arts degrees in biology and chemistry at Geneseo are eligible for this option.
The 3+3 articulation track saves students the cost of one year of tuition by allowing students to earn their bachelor's degree from SUNY Geneseo and graduate degree from Northeast one year sooner than it would take to earn the degrees individually. This option is available to students earning their bachelor of science in biochemistry, biology, chemistry, and neuroscience at Geneseo.
“We are eager to welcome SUNY Geneseo students to our doctor of chiropractic program and invite them to reimagine health with us,” said Northeast College President Dr. Michael Mestan. “This partnership reflects our strong interprofessional nature and dedication to providing simplified and practical options for admission to allow more students to become exceptional healthcare professionals.”
