Denise Reed Lamoreaux '84, Christina Halladay '09, and Michaela Gascon '06 were recognized as finalists at the Athena Award presentation on January 20, 2022. They represented three categories: ATHENA International, Young Professional and Organizational award categories, respectively.

Denise Reed Lamoreaux ’84 is the Worldwide Learning Director for Customer Success for Accessible Accommodations at Microsoft Corp. She has more than 30 years of experience in learning and development, marketing and communications, diversity and inclusion, and mentoring and coaching. Denise served as an active leader of the Geneseo Alumni Association (GAA) from 2013 to 2016 and championed the organization as it transitioned to an affiliated entity of the College, becoming the first president of the SUNY Geneseo Alumni Association (SGAA) from 2017 to 2020. Denise received her BA degrees in English and Secondary Education from Geneseo.
Christina Halladay ’09 is a director of User Experience (UX) at ITX Corp, a software development company. She is a UX Designer where she works with distributed cross-functional teams to build impactful, human-centered digital products. Christina received her BA degree in psychology from Geneseo.
Michaela Gascon ’06 is president and CEO of the KJT Group, a consulting firm focused on healthcare. Michaela represents the employee-owned company founded in 2007, which she has been with since its inception. She has led a team that has helped hundreds of clients in the health service, medical device, pharma and biotech industries meet their growth goals while improving patient outcomes. Michaela received her BS degree in business administration from Geneseo.
