Tri-Beta Research Symposium
Every year, Tri-Beta holds a research symposium that allows students, as well as professors, to learn more about the research occurring on campus.
The symposium are generally held in person and start with talks from professors held in a lecture hall in Newton Hall followed by students and professors presenting research posters in the Integrated Science Center (ISC).
In 2019, Dr. Bosch presented his findings on “Growing Threat of Algal Blooms in Ocean and Lakes" and Dr. Apple gave a talk about her research on "Masquerading on Eight Legs: Natural History of a Non-native Ant-Mimicking Spider in Western New York." After these presentations the students went to the ISC and presented their posters to their fellow peers and professors.
