SUBMISSION DEADLINES
- March 15, 4:30 pm - this deadline is just for your title/abstracts to be included in the schedule.
- April 12-19, 4.30pm - this deadline is for upload of work. Please visit Upload Your Work for further instructions.
The drop downs below provide information on submitting various types of content to GREAT DayS and links to the submission forms:
- Single Presentation/Performance

- This could feature one or more student presenters/performers.
- It can take the form of a prerecorded video, a document, or a weblink; upload instructions will be sent to you and the upload will be due 4/12-4/19.
- It can be entirely asynchronous or have a live/synchronous component: you will be responsible for identifying a time for a synchronous element. We ask you upload a recording of the live element after the event, if possible.
- We ask you to provide up to three keywords that describe or apply to your presentation or performance (please don’t include words that are already in your title or abstract/description)
- Please use this submission form when you are ready to submit - deadline 3/15.
- Group of Presentations/Performances

- This features two or more student presentations/performances grouped under a topic or theme.
- Presentations/performances can take the form of a prerecorded video, a document, or a weblink; upload instructions will be sent to you and the upload will be due 4/12-4/19.
- Presentations/performances can be entirely asynchronous or have a live/synchronous component: you will be responsible for identifying a time for a synchronous element. We ask you upload a recording of the live element after the event, if possible.
- We ask for an overall title for the group of presentations/performances and for titles of each presentation/performance included in the group.
- We ask you to provide up to three keywords that describe or apply to your presentation or performance (please don’t include words that are already in your title or abstract/description)
- Please use this submission form when you are ready to submit - deadline 3/15.
- Poster

- This should take the form of a .pdf; upload instructions will be sent to you and the upload will be due 4/12-4/19.
- You may also optionally provide a prerecorded video describing your poster.
- You can also optionally hold a live/synchronous presentation of your poster: you will be responsible for identifying a time for a synchronous element. We ask you upload a recording of the live element after the event, if possible.
- We ask you to provide up to three keywords that describe or apply to your presentation or performance (please don’t include words that are already in your title or abstract/description)
- Please use this submission form when you are ready to submit - deadline 3/15.
- Artwork

- This should take the form of a digital image, weblink, or prerecorded video; upload instructions will be sent to you and the upload will be due 4/12-4/19.
- You can also optionally hold a live/synchronous presentation of your artwork: you will be responsible for identifying a time for a synchronous element. We ask you upload a recording of the live element after the event, if possible.
- We ask you to provide up to three keywords that describe or apply to your presentation or performance (please don’t include words that are already in your title or abstract/description)
- Please use this submission form when you are ready to submit - deadline 3/15.
PREPARING YOUR TITLE and ABSTRACT/BRIEF DESCRIPTION - DUE 3/15
- Titles of presentations and performances are limited to 200 characters.
- You will need to provide the names of all student co-authors/co-presenters and the name(s) and department(s) of your faculty sponsor(s).
- Abstract/Brief Description is limited to 200 words. Because there is a 200 word limit, each sentence should convey important information. Please remember that you are addressing a general, but educated, audience. Specific terms should be defined and explained.
- The online-form will accept standard ASCII characters only (#$%^&*()_+~'-+={}[]|\"?<>). If your title or abstract/short description requires any special characters, please insert the name of the character in < > (example <delta>).
- Please be sure to proof your abstract as it will be included in the schedule as submitted.
- You may also provide up to three keywords that describe or apply to your presentation or performance.
- If you plan to include an optional synchronous session (see additional information below) you will need to provide the date and start and end times for the synchronous session.
