Sankofa Graduation Recognition 2024 (SUNY Geneseo video/Mat Johnson)
On May 16, SUNY Geneseo held its 6th annual Sankofa Graduation Recognition Ceremony.
The event honors those who self-identify as students of color, while acknowledging their resilience and perseverance toward this important milestone.
The keynote speaker was Mark Broomfield, associate professor of English and founding director of Performance as Social Change.
