Fall at SUNY Geneseo
GENESEO, N.Y. – College Senate Chair Duane McPherson is accepting nominations faculty, students and staff for several Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence and for Distinguished Professorships.
The Chancellor’s Awards include excellence in teaching, adjunct teaching, professional service, librarianship, scholarship and creative activities and faculty service. The Distinguished Professorships include Distinguished Teaching Professor and Distinguished Service Professor.
The 1-2 page nomination letter must be submitted in writing by Sept. 15, 2017, to McPherson in the Department of Biology, ISC 255 or emailed to senate@geneseo.edu. The letter should describe the nominee’s qualifications for the award or rank. Nominees will be informed of their nomination soon after the closing date and if the nomination is accepted, will be asked to submit additional supportive materials.
