The Geneseo Tempestry group creates "temperature tapestries" (tempestries) to track the daily high temperatures at Geneseo from 2021, the college's 150th year. Students, faculty, staff, and alums come together to learn, teach, and enjoy crafting, mainly knitting and crochet, during in-person meetings once a week. Participants are encouraged to stitch temperatures from years other than 2021 to show the impact of climate change across time.
