Submissions are now open for all Geneseo students, faculty and staff to showcase their talents at the 2018 Key Bank Rochester Fringe Festival. As in previous years, Geneseo is expected to offer a full day of free entertainment.
All artists, arts organizations and producers interested in presenting a show in any genre (children’s, comedy, dance, multidisciplinary, music, spoken word, theatre and visual arts & film) during the 2018 Fringe can apply online. For more information on the free submission process and to submit a show, browse Fringe Backstage. Be sure to indicate Geneseo as an “affiliation.” Applications are due by midnight April 30.
The Fringe Festival is a 10-day, multidisciplinary visual and performing arts festival featuring international, national and local artists. Celebrating its seventh anniversary, the event showcases theater, comedy, visual arts, family entertainment, music, dance, spoken word, opera, poetry and literature. SUNY Geneseo is one of the founding educational partners and has delighted audiences through dance, art and music performances at every festival since its inception in 2012.
